Polypropylene silk production process

The production process of polypropylene silk refers to the process of processing polypropylene raw materials into finished polypropylene silk through a series of process steps.The following are the steps of a general polypropylene silk production process:

1.Preparation of polypropylene raw materials: Prepare polypropylene particles in a certain proportion for subsequent process use.

4.Cooling: The initially formed polypropylene silk is passed through the cooling device in order to quickly cool and cure the fibers to prevent fiber adhesion.

5.Puffing: The cooled and cured polypropylene fiber is passed through the puffing equipment, and the high-temperature air flow is used to expand the fiber and increase the volume of the fiber.

6.Winding: The puffed polypropylene fiber is passed through the winding machine, and the fiber is wound into a wheel shape to facilitate subsequent process use.

7.Spraying (optional): The wound polypropylene wire is passed through the spraying equipment and the enhancer or pigment is sprayed to increase the performance of the polypropylene wire or change the color.

8.Rolling/polyester formation (optional): The wound two-strand silk is processed into a polyester shape through a special rolling process to expand the fiber application field.

9.Polypropylene silk finishing: The polypropylene silk after winding or rolling is sorted to remove impurities and level the fiber structure.

10.Testing: The finished polypropylene silk is tested to check whether the quality and performance of the fiber meet the requirements of the standard.

11.Packaging: The tested polypropylene silk is packaged, usually in large rolls or small rolls.
