Characteristic yarn and fiber fine mixing technology have their own advantages and disadvantages. How to choose the right one for you?

              For the production of characteristic yarn products, fiber composition distribution is one of the key technologies of Zui. The fiber component combination and distribution technology can be divided into the technology that can realize the quasi uniform distribution of heterochromatic fiber components in the yarn according to the specified mixing ratio (referred to as fine mixing technology) and the technology that can realize the combination and distribution of some fiber components and the main fiber components in the yarn according to the specified special mode (referred to as special distribution technology). The fine mixing technology can produce the characteristic products with the heterogeneous fiber components evenly distributed in the yarn, while the special distribution technology can produce the characteristic yarn products with some fibers distributed according to certain requirements. The Zui basic and Zui ordinary yarn products produced by color spinning semi worsted yarn enterprises belong to di class I product technology, while the differentiated new products favored by the market in recent years, such as segment color yarn, color dot yarn and silk rain yarn, belong to di class II technology products.


           The ordinary spinning process of fine blending technology contains blending function. During yarn production, the color of fiber raw materials will be slightly different, and only by mixing can they be merged into one color. However, the mixing function in the ordinary spinning process is limited. For natural color pure cotton yarn products, if the raw cotton of each mark in the same variety is natural white due to different origin or alternation of new and old, but the difference between yellow and white is large, yellow and white yarn defects are likely to occur during production, which indicates the limitation of mixing function in ordinary spinning process. The difference in color and performance between the fiber components in the characteristic yarn products is much greater than that of the natural color pure cotton yarn products. In order to realize the technical requirements of quasi uniform distribution of the heterogeneous fiber components in the yarn according to the established mixing ratio, people have designed various fine mixing technical schemes based on the mixing function of the existing process flow.


             First, Swiss Lida fine mixing technology. The core of the technology is to control the thickness of the fiber layer of each component to realize the proportional layering and mixing. Compared with the conventional spinning opening and cleaning mixing technology, this fine mixing technology is a Gao end fiber mixing technology with high technical content. However, if it is applied to color spinning semi worsted enterprises, it has certain limitations. Therefore, this technology is only suitable for long-term large single varieties with simple components and low color mixing requirements, and not suitable for small varieties with complex components and high color mixing requirements.


            The second is the truzler cotton cluster mixing system. Compared with the usual spinning opening and cleaning mixing technology, the truzler cotton cluster mixing system is a Gao end fiber mixing technology with high technical content. However, if it is applied to color spinning semi worsted enterprises, it has certain limitations. It is also suitable for long-term large single varieties with simple components and low color mixing requirements, and not suitable for small varieties with complex components and high color mixing requirements.


           Because it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of the dynamic weighing of the machine, the configuration number of the weighing machine of this technology limits the number of fiber components. In addition, the investment cost of combined unit is high, which is difficult for general color spinning and semi worsted enterprises to bear.


          The third is the special premix technology for color spinning. The color spinning special premixing technology is the premixing technology developed by a leading color spinning enterprise for the production of color spinning products, that is, the mixing (or flower mixing) technology before the cotton cleaning process. It is an organic integration of a variety of fiber mixing technologies. One of the important innovations of Zui is that it realizes the proportional layering (stacking) and mixing of each component fiber through the ingenious automatic generation method.


           Fourth, disc premixing technology. Some textile machinery manufacturers use traditional technology to combine the process of "disc grabber → cotton coagulator → baler", which is specially used by color spinning enterprises as the mixing (or flower mixing) technology before the opening and cleaning process. This is a method widely used in color spinning at present. For color spinning large single varieties, this technology is labor-saving and efficient, which is a partial repetition of the traditional cleaning process, and there is no professional obstacle in operation and management.


           Each of the above-mentioned fine mixing technologies has its own advantages and disadvantages. It is impossible to generalize which method should be selected. For example, when a color textile factory is newly built or rebuilt, how to choose depends on the existing objective conditions and product direction, and the existing plant site, equipment resources, human resources, technical team, product positioning, etc. should be considered. However, no matter which method is selected, some common basic process principles should be followed in specific application.


           The first is the principle of mixing. An important process principle to be followed by fine mixing technology is "no mixing, no dropping, no dropping, no dropping, no dropping, no dropping, no mixing". Generally, the impurity removal and mixing of fiber raw materials should not be carried out at the same time, so as to avoid the mixing ratio out of control due to the different lint rate of different fiber components. Therefore, color spinning and semi worsted enterprises often process raw cotton into cotton webs (shredded carding slivers or combed slivers) and then mix them (color mixing in proportion), that is to say, impurities are dropped first and then mixed. If it is cotton polyester blended spinning, the raw cotton is first processed into a cotton web, and then mixed with polyester fiber.


            Second, the principle of mutual exclusion. The principle of mutual exclusion means that different fine mixing methods cannot be mixed. Because the mixing effect of different methods is different. For example, the color spinning special premixing technology and the disk premixing technology are adopted. The opening density of the fiber raw materials is different and the mixing fineness is different. The fabric surface reflection effect of the color spinning yarn products formed by Zui is different. If the two technologies are mixed, local color difference may occur on the cloth surface, causing the cloth surface to become horizontal.


             Third, mix and combine. Fine mixing shall follow the process principle of full mixing, drawing supplement and mixing. The so-called full mixing means that the fibers of each component are mixed together (or mixed), rather than being combined in the drawing process after being treated separately. The realization of fine mixing cannot only depend on a certain process in the production process, but all the mixing functions in the process flow should be given full play. If it is combined in the drawing process after the differentiation processing, it means that the mixing function before the drawing process is abandoned. After two color slivers are combined by one drawing, the two color fibers are obviously distributed in parallel in the sliver. After two drawing, the two color fibers can still be distinguished. The different color fibers can only be combined by two drawing, and it is difficult to achieve the goal of fine fiber mixing.


            Therefore, the fine mixing cannot be realized only by the drawing process, but the drawing process can be used as a supplementary means of mixing. Color spinning enterprises usually use the combination effect to tone and complement color, that is, when the color deviation occurs in the sliver, the color can be mixed with the color sliver in the opposite direction of color deviation to obtain the colorless sliver.


            The combination and distribution technology of fiber components constituting the yarn is the key technology for the research and development of characteristic yarn products. It is the basic technology for the production of characteristic yarn products to make various fiber components finely mixed and evenly distributed in the yarn. It should follow the principle of reasonable dropping and mixing, not violate the principle of mutual exclusion, and do the mixing and organic combination.
